Very fun place. We've been here a few times. We liked the 45 record with the line of cool aid we got the first time. 80s vibe is cool and the names of drinks are entertaining. Drinks and food are great!

The Woo Woo is a unique speakeasy with an interesting entry process. After obtaining a passcode, you descend into a mini adult shop where a hidden door leads you into the speakeasy. I took a seat at the bar and found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. The cocktails were visually appealing, though the one I tried was a bit too sweet for my liking. I also sampled the grilled cheese steak sandwich, which was a tad too greasy for my taste. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with a great atmosphere.

This place is super cute, if you’re looking for a n after spot to chill and grab a quick bite as well as take some really cute pics, finger foods was pretty good, service was good as well, drinks are decorated nicely but very light in Alcohol, drinks are definitely overpriced for the amount of liquor, stick to beer. Here some pictures below enjoy..

The Woo Woo isn’t just a bar; it’s an experience. This modern-day speakeasy takes you on a thrilling journey into the sultry, vibrant chaos of 1980s Times Square, blending it seamlessly with the open-minded inclusivity of today. From the moment you locate its unassuming storefront, you know you’re in for something special—and perhaps a little wicked. To enter, you’ll need the coveted password, which adds an air of exclusivity and intrigue. The journey begins as you ascend a graffiti-laden staircase, which feels like stepping into the pages of a gritty New York City story. You arrive at an adults-only sex shop that feels delightfully cheeky, stocked with vintage 80s porn magazines and memorabilia—a daring and amusing prelude to what awaits beyond the iconic red curtain. Once you’re buzzed through the VCR bookcase portal (yes, really), you enter a world that’s equal parts nostalgia and modern-day fantasy. The space is intimate, dimly lit, and dripping with retro glamour. The cocktail menu is an art form, drawing inspiration from music and television, with creations that are as inventive as they are delicious. Whether you’re in the mood for a flaming spectacle or a cocktail with rhythmic flair, the options are as varied as they are tantalizing. What truly sets The Woo Woo apart is its embrace of all walks of life. This is a space where everyone 21+ is welcomed with open arms, creating an atmosphere of liberation and celebration. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure each guest feels like part of the story. The Woo Woo captures the spirit of an era when the world felt limitless while celebrating the progressive, fluid mindset of today. It’s a sultry, immersive escape that guarantees more than just a drink—it delivers an unforgettable night filled with promiscuity, seduction, and a few blush-worthy surprises. If you’re looking for a unique and thrilling adventure, The Woo Woo is a must-visit.

The woo woo is a cute speakeasy experience that seems especially safe for young women. Firstly, you need to have the dirty passcode of the day (found on their website) to enter. You go down some stairs where your ID is checked. Note that you should be dressed nicely since there is a dress code. You then go through a secret door to the bar area. It’s decorated super cute, with a photo booth ($7) and a disco ball. They play 80s songs and have movies playing. The seating is a mix of booth and chairs, as well as the bar stools. They also have bathrooms. Note that everyone needs to give an ID and credit card when ordering. I liked their drinks, they are very unique and gimmicky in a good way. I got the Frisky Business, which had marshmallows on fire and pop rox. The woo woo was also delicious and came in a body glass. The staff are so attentive and gave us waters and check in on us multiple times. It felt very safe as two young women!

Underground best 80's theme bar in NYC hands down. Excellent service, incredible cocktails with catchy names, great mature crowd and please remember your password when you arrive or no entry. (Password in their website)

The place is beautiful for photos. I ordered the burger, guacamole, quesadilla, and the panty dropper drink... the food was was bland. The drinks are pretty to look at but tasted like juice. Dont expect to get tipsy or a buzz.I wanted to love this place, but I felt rushed to leave. I was only there for an hour smh

My boyfriend brought me back here tonight because we had so much fun the first time around. Great drinks, delicious food, great vibes and our bartenders Evelyn and Frankie kept engaging with us and cracking us up. Absolutely coming back!

This place is AMAZING and so 80s. Literally went to meet up with a friend, the place was so nostalgic, with speakeasy 80s theme , drinks, decor, music, and much more! When you arrive a passcode is required, food was decent, truffle fries and chicken sliders were good, the drinks were delicious, very creative in presentation.

Such a unique quirky and fun speakeasy! Definitely in a very touristy area but I think that works in their favor. The vibe is definitely giving drunk uncles basement but in a good way. The drinks are really good and the seasonal drinks are definitely worth a try!

Loved the woo woo experience! Have your password ready (🤭). The music was 70s and 80s disco vibes! Eclectic! Fun. The food was delicious (only ate a side dish shared). OMG 😍 The Barbie drink was PERFECT! I also have a lemon drop martini (decent). We danced. We laughed. We enjoyed the atmosphere of this lovely speakeasy! Stop on by and enjoy.

Most amazing bar experience of my life. Frankie was the best bartender/mixologist ever! Absolutely loved this place. Epic night and epic experience! Wish I would've tried the food, as well. I'm sure it's equally as fabulous!

Had The Woo Woo on my list ever since it popped off on TikTok and IG. The concept is super cute—an 80s, sex-positive vibe with classic movies playing on loop, graffiti-covered walls, grungy diner feel, and a fun soundtrack. Definitely a cool idea. But the actual experience? Not great. Drinks were like juice, food was meh but way overpriced for what you get. Between three of us had 1 round of drinks and shared 3 apps. Our waiter was super friendly, but still couldn’t get our order right even after we repeated it multiple times—it came out wrong anyway. To top it off, the food came out faster than our drinks… and this was late on a Wednesday night with barely anyone there. Service overall was disappointing, which made more sense once we noticed gratuity is automatically included on the bill. All in all, it’s a one-and-done kind of spot. Don’t fall for the social media hype—there’s no real reason to go back.

The Woo Bar is simply EPIC. Stones throw from Times Square, this take on a speakeasy hits out of the park. Entering a secret door, down a staircase covered in graffiti….through a curtain and hidden bookshelf….this peep show themed speakeasy was awesome before we entered. Drinks are fantastic, would strongly recommend the “Sex Cures Anxiety” for gin lover and the Qualaude, by far my favorite drink. Bartenders are awesome and hilarious, just go and check it out!

I had been to The Woo Woo twice last summer and enjoyed the decor so I was excited to return with my sister after a Broadway show as she is a fan of speakeasy’s. We were dressed in smart-casual attire, and their sign only prohibited sweatpants, athletic attire, and tracksuits. Yet, I was immediately denied entry by a worker wearing a themed graphic tee and jeans, because of my fitted knit pants—while multiple guests inside wore leggings, scrubs, hoodies, and crewneck sweatshirts. The double standard in dress code enforcement made no sense. When I politely asked to speak to a manager, I was dismissed abruptly and told “I’m the manager, we have a dress code” and then he walked off. A staff member then returned with a bouncer, even though I had remained calm and respectful the entire time. After leaving the establishment and waiting outside for the rest of my party to get directions to another location, I was asking the bouncer to specify the dress code to me. The bouncer became rude and irate- even said “Stop talking to me,” refusing to clarify the dress code inconsistencies and making it clear we weren’t welcome. Despite me wearing Ugg booties, he said “you have on Crocs, you’re not getting in.” It was odd that someone that can’t tell Uggs from Crocs was supposed to judge my dress. Instead of addressing the issue, they escalated it unnecessarily, which was unprofessional. The Woo Woo does have a speakeasy-style atmosphere, but it’s all about aesthetic over experience. The drinks are cute but you are paying cocktail money for what is essentially juice with a dash of liquor and service inside is rushed—staff closely monitor guests to enforce a strict 90-minute time limit, making the whole experience feel transactional. There are far better spots in NYC for good cocktails and quality service. If you’re just looking for a photo-op and don’t care for decent service, then check it out. Otherwise, it’s not worth the hassle. Try Paradise Lost, Nothing Really Matters, or Welcome to the Johnson’s if you’re into themed bars. SB: you may not enter this establishment alone. Singles are not allowed.

The Woo Woo is everything you could ever ask for in a speakeasy and more!! From the password to gain entrance, the cassette shelf hidden door, the disco music being played all night long, and the specially curated cocktails, The Woo Woo was an experience like no other!! From the moment you enter the lounge area, it feels like you've stepped into an 80s disco, with nonstop hits from the disco era and classic movies like dirty dancing and footloose being played on screens located around the lounge. The ambience is lively, upbeat, and a bit risqué. They offer delicious food in large portions and one of the most creative craft cocktails list, which will make you want to try as many as possible. They offer a bottomless drink option for $35, which gives you unlimited drinks for 90 mins and includes several of their signature cocktails. The dirty dancing cocktail was especially tasty and easily the favorite of the drinks I tried. The Woo Woo is an absolute must-visit and will easily become a favorite!! I can't wait to go back to try some more of their cocktails!!
