First time at The Nines, and it didn't disappoint. Be ready to spend $$$$ but it's worth it. The staff were very friendly, the food was good and drinks strong. The live jazz makes it a great experience.

Celebrated our 10 year anniversary here! Outstanding caviar and really enjoyed the tartar - the jazz was amazing too!! Super nice ambiance. Martinis are the best.

The Nines was everything you want for a special night out in New York—elegant, vibrant, and full of surprises. We celebrated Elliott’s birthday with a 9 PM reservation, and from the moment we walked in, the night felt electric. Gabrielle, the singer and piano player, was absolutely sublime, setting the tone with her incredible voice. Later, the vibe shifted seamlessly to a cool DJ, and the energy stayed high. The place was packed but never chaotic, with everyone dressed to impress. Service was flawless. Manny started us off—professional but with just the right amount of cool—and we ended the night with Oliver, who kept things smooth. Madeline, one of the managers, even stopped by to introduce herself and check on us, which was such a thoughtful touch. We began with drinks: The Nines cocktail (tequila blanco, bright and fresh) and the Sazerac, which was bold and classic—definitely on the masculine side. For food, we started with the tuna tartare and hamachi, both beautifully done. We had ordered one baked potato with caviar, but in a fun twist, two arrived, along with two glasses of champagne—courtesy of a very generous little bird who sent it for Elliott’s birthday. Such a moment! For mains, I had the filet with fries (perfectly cooked, classic, and just what I wanted), and Elliott had the gnudi, which was rich and satisfying. Dessert was over the top in the best way—the Sundae was indulgent, playful, and absolutely worth it. The night didn’t end there. We stayed late, soaking in the crowd, the music, and the unbeatable energy of the room, with Casa Dragones Blanco and Manhattans keeping the celebration going. It was the kind of evening that only New York City can deliver—timeless, glamorous, and unforgettable. The Nines isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience, and it was the perfect place to toast Elliott. A night we’ll never forget.

Can't go wrong with this place. OH MY LORD! The greeting we received was welcoming and really seemed as if the team was happy to be there. Such an outstanding addition to the neighborhood. Good for a group of friends. Very lovely spot with good prices and good options. Every menu item that we have ordered was incredibly fresh and tasty. Pretty much every menu item that we purchased was really fresh and flavorful. Every thing I've tried until now has been marvelous. The workers are super attentive and friendly. They're very good at giving recommendations. The staff are extremely attentive and kind and they're very good at giving recommendations. Service is extremely helpful and pleasant. I definitely recommend that place! Must try: every thing. I have nothing bad to say about The Nines.

What a cool setting for a piano bar. The atmosphere was so relaxing and fun. Service is top notch, they thread the needle of being always available to serve but not overwhelming. And the cocktails are awesome. I had the Nines cocktail and it went down so easy, almost too good. It’s on the expensive side at ~$25 per cocktail but you get what you pay for. Would go again. Great date spot.

Lovely decor, art deco, roaring 20s feel. Giving it 4-4.5 stars because they have cold drinks on ice instead of in a cold fridge. Had snacks and drinks. Bubbles aren’t cold enough and the glasses should be chilled for a place like this IMO. Need sparkling rosé on the menu. Lovely singer who sang in French. The horn was too loud over the singer. When doing sound remember that the singing is more important than the secondary instruments in the band. Sat at the bar. Good coat check and polite greeters at the door. Would definitely go again.

We had a fantastic time celebrating a birthday at the Nines. The atmosphere was sexy and moody with great lighting and music. The service was spectacular, greeted with a happy birthday, they accommodated us bringing a cake ($5 fee/person) they added candles, coordinated a round of cocktails paid by family member over the phone in advance! The martinis and manhattans were perfection and served with your own overflow pitcher on ice. The burger and steak were delicious and not too large. I would absolutely return, to make any night feel like a really special occasion.

The Nines gets a TEN+++! This jazz cabaret/lounge drips class and exudes the intimate appeal of timeless jazz in one of the sexiest settings I’ve ever experienced! THIS is where you go on any date night particularly a first date or any special occasion to impress and sway to entrancing live performances. You will NOT regret this decision. We were here to celebrate a birthday and the team did not disappoint. Truly Best in Class attention and service. Every detail was perfect. I could not find one detail out of place. Service orchestration was perfection. Cocktails were outstanding! The cocktail nibbles savory and the food and desserts excellent! The room and decor itself is a showstopper. Literally A MUST for every New Yorker and any visitor. In a word…UNFORGETTABLE!

Headline: amazing vibes, good live music but quiet enough still for conversations, stunning lighting and atmosphere, great food Details: I planned a 6-person birthday dinner here, and it was so much fun. There was live piano at regular intervals and it was popular songs that were played so beautifully. My fear was that with live music we wouldn’t be able to talk, but we were able to talk across the table with not too much strain. Ordered a round of shots to start, we all got different cocktails and we ALL loved ours. It’s surprisingly hard-pressed for me to find a good cocktail in this city. We got a few raw fish dishes that were fun, the burger was maybe the best burger I’ve ever had???? That was unexpected. The duck frites were fun, the sundae dessert and the creme brûlée were also really good. So — what else is there to say? Great food, great drinks, VIBES immaculate like think about really intimate and elegant music and dinner. Come here?

WOW!!! see photos Our reviews had over 52 million views last year. We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun. We really loved The Nines. Get dressed up!!!! Great food, great vibe, great music. Had a blast there on a Thursday night from 8-10 pm. Piano player from 6-9 then another one from 9-midnight. Then stays open as a fun club until 2 am. Club Acme is downstairs from 10 to 4 am. You must dress up A LOT for both places. Drinks are $20-$27 and food varies a lot. We posted photos of all the menus with prices so you can see how much because they do not say online. Loved the hamburger and loved the Gundi which is gnocchi made with ricotta cheese. Desserts are super great and the smoked salmon app was HUGE. $99 twice baked potato was worth every penny!!! Great place we will be back to many times. LOVED IT!!!! Check out all of our reviews. I cannot begin to explain to you how great this place is! The ambiance is unmatched. From the moment you walk in, you feel immersed in the elegant and sexy energy. The decor is out of a movie. I visited the restaurant for the jazz night on Sunday. The band was wonderful and the singer was very talented. As for the food, it was incredibly delicious and cooked to perfection. A truly remarkable marriage of flavours! One of the best restaurant experiences of my life! You will need a reservation for this place so make sure you reserve early as it gets booked pretty quickly.

Loved dining here! Our server, Ollie, gave great service and was very kind and attentive. Caviar baked potato was the best!! The atmosphere was top tier. Everyone was dressed nicely- laughing and having a great time. Each musician that played was exceptional and the volume was appropriate so that even though we were seated next to the piano, we could hear each other talk. We will be back!
