A bartender down the street killed the mood for my friends and I who were in the city for the Rangers game. We came to Scallywags right after and they were so great and got our night going again. Staff greeted us with open arms and were so great throughout the night. Cathy was incredible. I’ve never left a review on anything, but this was the first place I really felt like I have to. They’re amazing.

It’s a good, standard Irish pub. Very Loud so not ideal to have conversations. Quite packed with good atmosphere. Slow service. NYC prices. Good enough location not too far from Times Square.

We were only here for a brief time today but we were grateful we came! We originally wanted to go to another place that was closed. We were greeted by a nice lady who talked to us about delicious Irish foods and offered us plenty of water. Prices felt very reasonable being downtown. She asked us if we were in a rush (we were catching a train) and sent us off with water as well. We’re eating the food now and it’s GREAT!

Food was delicious. Staff super friendly. A tad overpriced but it's in NYC so I'm not surprised. A bit dark and the waitress lowered the lights even more. Not a large menu which is both good and bad. Definitely would go back. The live music was great. Not a far walk from the Javits center.

Food was delicious, and our waitress was super sweet! We got the chicken pot pie and the Hell’s Kitchen burger. Burger was HUGE but my husband loved it. Chicken pot pie really hit the spot 😋 Also got the Scallywags Amber Ale, which was likewise very good! 10/10 would recommend.

A fine Irish pub. I imagine the place gets crowded and loud at times but I was here for some after lunch beers and it was great. They have Harp and Guinness on tap. And a number of other non Irish options on tap. $10 a pint 😳

Wonderful lil bar, lovely waitress always making sure we're happy with full bellies of beer and nibblies. Would come here over and over again if I wasn't flying out tomorrow, top notch place, nice and cheap throughout the day and night, about 7-9USD a drink.

We watched the Euro cup and there were two different TVs on both sides where everyone could watch. This place is highly recommended! We stopped in on a whim and ended up staying for four pints of Scallywag beer and had the sampler appetizer which was delicious. The wings were VERY good as was everything else. Rose is a complete gem and we had a great visit. Highly recommend!

This was a great little place. It was pretty busy when we walked in but we were seated at the bar immediately. (By the very cheerful owner, we later found out)The bartender, Catherine, was wonderful. Friendly, great service, quick witted and made a killer drink. We stayed for 3 more and had some nachos while we visited. They were very good. Next time we visit the city, I'm going back to this place. We had a great time with very reasonable. prices.
