Very good branzino, salads, a nice smash burger, scallops and vegetable sides. Delicious focaccia and shishito peppers on a bed of warm hummus. Prompt and friendly service, Not overpriced. Overall, a buzzy neighborhood place with a stylish, couples vibe that's good for date night. .

I had a great experience at Marian's last night. It was a warm October night, and there was great live jazz by KJT in the charming outdoor setting. The food was delicious. If you like pork shoulder I recommend the Miami. My server was friendly, and I even got to hang with Dennis, the gracious owner. A great vibe. I couldn't have had a better time.

Got the hanger steak cooked medium rare, it was chewy and needed more salt. The surface didn’t have a good enough char. Fries were hot and crispy. The compound butter was good, might make more sense to serve it melted in a ramekin because The steak was served to me a bit cold, I get letting it rest but maybe give it a flash b4 selling. The interior of this place was small but chill, I would come back maybe just because of the vibes but the meal I had was definitely mid af. Idk the menu isn’t that crazy but if ur around on a date then maybe

A wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion. We enjoyed a bottle of champagne, delicious focaccia, and splurged on the roast duck. Tagliatelle was pretty good. Didn't love the chocolate tart, but the service and general deliciousness more than compensated.

Me and my girlfriend, Danielle, came here for dinner and we loved every minute of our experience. She had the cavatelli and I had the roasted chicken. Both were 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Espresso martini was great too. And we even got to hang with the owner, Christian…. great guy 😀

Fantastic brunch spot. The staff was very accommodating. The focaccia with whipped ricotta and whipped honey was fantastic. Some of the best focaccia I’ve had. The eggs and bacon breakfast with potato’s was delicious. A classic done very well with generous portions. Highly recommend adding their house hot sauce to whatever sounds good. The staff was attentive but you never felt rushed.

There is no service. It’s a weird place, they have tables but if you do not go to the bar you will not get any service. And the service you get comes with a side of attitude. It seems like they only serve draft beer, pizza and popcorn. The beer tasted bad. The popcorn was alright. There was a some kind of trivia night. The lady speaking was so loud it was bordering on abuse, hearing her talk. She talked so much we decided to go sit outside even though it was raining and cold. However some other people came outside smoking cigarettes and weed without respecting people that were not smoking. This was a disappointment to say the least. Unless you enjoy hearing someone yelling stay away from this place, it’s not worth it.

THE best quesadilla I've had in my life. I like a real, homestyle experience. The staff were real ones, bartender made a drink to fit my palette and they were awesome all around. They do music nights with an incredible little venue in the back. Coming from Toronto, it felt like all the places I know and love back home. I'll be back to play your venue Marian!

We were sending our dearest friend off ths past Wednesday so what better why than a local spot. The service was AMAZING. Our girl got it right from the beginning to end. Looks like she was the only server however her attention to detail was spot on. She was very knowledgeable about the menu as well as the wine selection. I enjoyed my food and so did the other ladies. We will be back because we are always finding reasons to get together. Thanks for your wonderful atmosphere and service 😊 💚 O yeah every other Wednesday they have stand up comedy 🤣 😂

Sigh, I didn't want to tell everyone about my new secret getaway, but this spot is my mini, dimly-lit paradise in Bedstuy. Jazz bar with great performances, amazing bartenders/owners, damn good cocktails (not your whiskey ginger dive joints... we talking "shaken, not stirred") and food. Now, I'm going to stop talking because I dont want it packed... dammit, but it deserves to be packed! Update: Still the move if you want a chill spot with great, dope staff and music. Not pretentious but the quality is high level.

Very cozy spot to visit after sunset. Would love to visit on a jazz night. My pizza took around 45mins and didn’t wow me 🫤but I did enjoy a delicious hot toddy. Bars with a hot drink menus > basic full bar

We had an absolutely perfect lunch here today, loving everything we tasted and aided by superb service by our waiter Jackson. Decor was modern and polished, and the atmosphere was still relaxed and warm to give a perfect neighborhood feel. The only blemish was the aloofness of the young hostess. We had the following three sandwiches and they were just superb: THE EGG SANDO (over easy egg, pimento cheese, mesclun) - just a perfect breakfast sandwich, bolstered with the addition of bacon. SMASHBURGER & FRIES (american cheese, pickles, burger sauce) - we got this with one patty for our daughter and it was just the right balance of meat, cheese, and bread. And oh yeah, the bread for every sandwich was just spectacular. Yay for great bread. HOT SHRIMP ROLL & FRIES (old bay spice aioli, spicy slaw, herbs) - well seasoned shrimp, creamy aioli, and the little bit of heat here made this yummy bite and after yummy bite. Special shout out to Jackson who made modifications for both the drinks and burger for our daughter, and was just super patient and kind. Definitely offset the cold vibes from the hostess, which we didn't take personally, she just clearly didn't want to be there.

Amazing restaurant. Definitely worth waiting to get a reservation Chef owner Christian at such a personal touch to your dining experience. This place screams excellence when you immediately walk through the door definitely recommend for anybody visiting New York who wants a sophisticated yet approachable dining experience.

I had a great time with a girlfriends I hadn’t seen in a long time!!! All staff was so kind and thoughtful. Also the music and ambiance were on point. Our cocktails were amazing too! The appetizers were good, but I must say the roasted chicken was so tender and delicious. I wanted to lick the plate! the manager Dustin, overheard my girlfriend talking about a new promotion and came over to our table a little glass of Prosecco, then gave us a quick peek at their new bar Pearl. Everything about this place is phenomenal. Definitely coming back when I return to New York in July!!

Came for the first time to meet up with a friend and sat at the bar. Had a couple of the Plum Cocktail (Purple Rain) and another Raspberry cocktail I don’t remember the name of, but both were delicious! Erik was a wonderful bartender. The space is beautiful. Will most likely be coming back.

vibe here is so good!!! was decently quiet, this would be good for a date, business dinner, family, etc (just prob not a great fit if you’re looking for something rowdy) knocked off a star bc i normalize for price & entree portions are pretty small (would prob get some apps w the meal). good wine too (would rec the tuscan blend if looking for a red)

Chef Christian Rowen, an alumnus of Bouley, Le Bernardin, Eleven Madison Park, The Nomad Hotel, and multiple restaurants in France opened Marian’s as a tribute to his grandmother, Marian. Cocktails taste amazing and goes along perfectly with their chips & dips. Excellent hospitality with super comfortable seating in a beautifully designed warm atmosphere is the best way to wind down the day. Their amazing chocolate tart will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth.
