Visited Lillie's Victorian Establishment with my friend, and it’s a gem of a spot for those who love intricate, over-the-top decor and a fun vintage vibe. The ambiance feels like stepping back in time—velvet, chandeliers, and ornate detailing all around make it truly unique. The cocktails were delicious and thoughtfully crafted, perfect for an evening out. Only thing that kept this from being a 5-star visit was the bar service, which was a bit on the slow side. Still, it’s a great spot to kick back and soak in the atmosphere!

I went to Lillie's Victorian Establishment union sq in early December. The decorations were a Christmas theme, and they have amazing decoration changing every season. It was a busy night and a private event when my friend and I got there. The bouncer told us to come back in an hour, so we went to another place then came back. We were so lucky to get a table and enjoy wonderful drinks and foods. We loved Classic Caeser Salad: crunchy Half Heart Of Romaine Lettuce with lots of cheese. Wishing we didn't eat from another place before so we could order more food here. Even it was super crowded, but service was still very good. We talked to different people make more friends. It was such a great seasonal celebration night.

If you’re looking for a festive and enchanting spot to dine during the holiday season, Lillie’s Victorian Establishment in Union Square is a must-visit! We stopped by during Christmas, and the decorations were absolutely stunning—so much attention to detail that it felt like stepping into a Victorian winter wonderland. Although we couldn’t snag a reservation, we were lucky to get bar seating. The bartender and servers were phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and really made the experience memorable. The drinks were the highlight of the evening! I had the Lillian Blanc, and it was perfection—balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Most of the food was great as well, but I have to note that the steak, while cooked perfectly, lacked seasoning. It was a minor letdown in an otherwise fantastic meal. Overall, Lillie’s is a spot I’d happily return to, especially for the ambiance and drinks. With just a tweak to the steak, it would have been a flawless evening. Highly recommend checking it out!

Where to begin...I was late for my reservation but the staff was very accommodating. The drinks were awesome, the food was very delicious. We had to personally thank the Chef. Chef Anna is very talented. I highly recommend this place. I will be coming back with friends! Excellent service!

Stop in after a bus tour. We didn't have reservations, but we were able to order food at the bar. Atmosphere is just to die for. The service was amazing. All stuff members were kind and courteous. The food was flavorful. We truly enjoyed our dinner. Also, my cocktail was just off the hook. I highly recommend 👌

December 2024: Highly recommend if you like being surrounded by floor to ceiling Christmas decorations, 60’s & 70’s music and don’t mind tight spaces with lots of tables. We enjoyed the experience at the Times Square area Lillian’s. We had a friendly and efficient waitress—very much enjoyed the chicken pot pie, hamburger and French fries. Beautiful decorations! Be sure to see the back of the restaurant’s Christmas displays, too!

We came on St. Patrick’s day and had their specials. They were both quite yummy! I was particularly impressed with their caesar salad. The Times Square location’s interior design is more impressive but ambiance is still great.

It was decorated beautifully for the Holiday Season. The staff was friendly, restaurant VERY crowded. Seating is tight, but that’s pretty typical in the city. We had delish winter themed cocktails. Their wines are good as well. We had the chicken pot pie, Cesar salad, burger, and lobster ravioli. All were very good and delicious. We walked out very full and happy. They don’t serve ranch and no Heinz ketchup And there’s a difference especially in the ketchup.

Such a fun and immersive atmosphere. They go all out on decorations no matter the time of year. It’s usually packed on weekends so be prepared to wait and for it to be loud inside. The service may not be that fastest but the food and drinks combined with the atmosphere does make it worth it.

Was this worth the hype? Yes! Absolutely, without a doubt! The whole restaurant is decorated from the ground up with Halloween props. The service was one of the best we had. Staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious! The wagyu burger had a smokey flavor, the buttermilk chicken sandwich was crunchy and tender on the inside and the hummus would make a Lebanese proud. We love how the chickpeas were roasted. If you’re looking for a nice place to eat with a halloween ambience, do not miss out on this! We can’t wait to come back for other seasons to see how it’s decorated.

Haven't been to Lillie's in 7 years, and came for dinner with a friend after the show. It's as magical as I remember. Decor is stunning Victorian. Food is delicious. Service is top notch. And drinks are super creative. We split bacon jam appetizer which I forgot to even take a photo of, and I had the lamb chops...and my drink was a Humphrey Bogart old-fashioned. Glad I remembered this place again, next time won't wait 7 years to come back!

If you don’t have a reservation, good luck getting a seat at the bar! The bar is first come first served and I had to wait for probably 30 or more minutes to snag 2 seats. The place is loud and festive and the decor is fun. The staff isn’t super welcoming but the bartenders were nice. I liked the burger a lot although I could barely taste the cheese. My friend liked her hot honey chicken sandwich and one of the winter cocktails on the menu- think it’s called Mama Claus Is Coming To Town. Overall, glad I went, not sure I’d come back, but it was a fine experience.

My friends and I visited to celebrate a birthday, and it was the perfect opportunity to come since it was NYC Restaurant Week. Immediately the atmosphere of the restaurant caught me off guard as it was beautiful. The staff in general were extremely welcoming and accommodating. I even ordered a dessert that I didn’t know had strawberries (I’m allergic to strawberries) and they apologized and gave me a completely new one. I just love their energy and kindness that it makes me want to visit again. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

We went here for dinner on a Saturday night and it was really crowded. I recommend making a reservation so you don’t have to wait. Food was amazing but we didn’t love our cocktails. Overall, it was a fun place to soak in the Christmas decorations and vibes!

Wow!!!! I mean, wow!!! Who cares if food is good? We had just appetizer so don't know if food is good. I just love this place! The atmosphere is out of this world! Who doesn't want to be in Victorian palace in the middle of NYC. This place is just breathtaking. So unique, quaint, and bonus - music is fantastic. I just could not leave. This is far one of the most shocking places I visited in NYC. I would never expect this decor and vibe. MUST GO BACK! I love it and pin it on my "❤️ places" list. Do yourself a favor and visit. You won't regret it- and you just might have the best photo shoot for Instagram

We went to a couple of Christmas pop-ups, but Lillies was by far the best! First, the place looked amazing, so decked out with beautiful Christmas decorations. The drinks were so tasty and lots of unique themed to choose from. We also got a couple of appetizers that were delicious. Lastly the staff was wonderful. It was a great experience. Reservations are recommended. We did have a wait since it was packed, but we hawked a couple of barseats. Would definitely come back.

This bar is absolutely over the top! 🎉🍸 What’s special is that the theme decor changes every year, mostly revolving around Halloween and Christmas vibes 🎃🎄. A friend told me that each setup takes at least 2-3 days to complete—just the level of dedication is impressive! The atmosphere is top-notch, the visual effects are stunning, and when you’re here, you’re not just drinking—you’re immersed in the full festive magic ✨. A solid five-star recommendation!

Fantastic restaurant to get you in the Christmas spirit. Decorations are amazing. I would recommend booking in advance to avoid waiting. We arrived an hour early for our reservation but were seated straight away. We had fish and chips, the chicken pie and a burger on our table and everyone was really happy with the food. My daughter was on her 5th consecutive burger in NYC and she said this was the best ! Staff were helpful and pleasant throughout, would recommend.

Lillie's Victorian is a lavish and picturesque restaurant that lives up to its expectations in ambience, service, and menu offerings. Their elaborate and extravagant floral decor makes it feel as if you have truly been transported to a Bridgerton event, while the lively music keeps you entertained all night long. The staff was attentive, courteous and efficient, and knowledgeable of the food and drink options. The food was delicious, and the drinks were amazing and exquisitely crafted. I can't wait to go there to try their afternoon tea and a few more of their drinks.

We didn’t have food but it smelt amazing. The drinks were delicious and we loved the concept of the space and the Christmas decoration. The service with great and they found us a high table even though the bar was busy. Normally bar drinks are first come first serve. The waitress that served us was so friendly and great in recommending the different cocktails. We had a gin drink which was named after The Smiths song.
