This was an OK dining experience. I enjoy tapas, but I didn’t like the long time between receiving the first half of our tapas and the second. We had to wait about 20 minutes between our waiter taking our first plates away and bringing our new ones. It would have been better if they were more evenly spread. Food was just ok to me. The meatballs were dryer than expected, the shrimp were overcooked, and the croquettes were cold in the middle. Our waiter was great, though.

Had a great experience at Ella Social. Cozy and clean. Sat at the bar and had lunch special. The soup plus lemon chicken were tasty. Very friendly staff, Karla was my waitress and she couldn’t be any sweeter and attentive.

Fantastic staff, super friendly and are truly so patient. The food was delicious and there were many options. This establishment is very clean and the decor is lovely. We found street parking near by. We’re seated right away even without a reservation. Our waitress was the best and we had the nicest interaction with her. We didn’t wait long for our food and checkout was a breeze. The French toast is amazing!

Staff kindly let us bring our bikes into the covered patio to enjoy a post ride burger. Burger was good but nothing amazing and for the price point (granted I know I am paying a lot by being in Lincoln square) I was expecting more. Pretty good all in all. We came at a quiet time, around 3 pm, so it was relaxed and a nice ambiance.

Dining at Ella Social was a truly unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. What really set the evening apart was our wonderful server, Adriana Moros. Adriana went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time. Her genuine warmth, attention to detail, and enthusiasm made us feel incredibly valued as guests. She guided us through the menu with ease, offering insightful recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. The food was nothing short of amazing. Each dish was a delightful surprise, bursting with flavors and presented with such artistry. It was clear that the chef poured passion and creativity into every plate. Adriana’s impeccable service and the delightful ambiance made our visit to Ella Social special. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of excellent food and outstanding service. We left with full hearts and happy taste buds, already planning our next visit. Thank you, Adriana, and the entire Ella Social team, for an evening we’ll never forget!

I loved the place it’s small but very cozy. I ordered margaritas and the bartender Manuel was amazing he always attentive to everything. I also had sea scallops ceviche and it was fantastic. I highly recommend it 100%

I came here with 2 family members one Saturday morning. We had a reservation. The food was absolutely delicious! The waiters were very polite & attentive. I liked the decor of the restaurant and the comfortable seating. Just be careful if you use the bathroom because the stairs leading down to them have varying heights. Besides that, I completely loved my experience here. My family & I will definitely be back!

Their grilled octopus and paella were absolute game changers. Super cute spot for small bites and drinks with friends.

Enjoyed brunch on Sunday, Norwegian eggs were good, just wished it came with more potatoes. French toast was tasty and good portion. Had one Bloody Mary, delicious but a bit on the small side for price. Service was good, but overall space is a little cramped and loud. Overall good for a quick bite, especially near Central Park.

Came for brunch! Norwegian eggs were good, but the sauce not so much. The steak of the Steak and eggs plate was a bit too tough and chewy. Buttermilk pancakes is the way to go here! So good. Service was kind and attentive. Overall a nice brunch.

Have eaten at Ella Social a handful of times. This restaurant is small inside but has nice outdoor space and is always packed as what seems is at every point throughout the day. They have great lunch and happy hour specials with reasonable pricing during both settings. The food is solid here. Ella Social is definitely a great neighborhood restaurant to visit.

Has good food and nice for a large group. We tried a lot of items but we really liked the brussel sprouts, octopus, tuna tartar, and the cauliflower. Not pictured, lamb meatballs, mushrooms, mussels, and chicken. The chicken strips were literally thin chicken cutlets cut into strips which we didn't mind, I liked how thin they were. But any kid looking for chicken tenders would be disappointed. The sangria was really good, recommend getting a pitcher for the table. Overall for the price, it was good.

If you’re ever in the mood for tapas - Ella’s Social is the spot. Take a break from NYC and step into this Catalan inspired joint for some great eats and drinks. Ella’s draws a fun crowd, so expect it to be “social” especially around happy hour. Resy’s recommended unless you’re just trying to swing by the bar. Iconic and dependable, the sangria is excellent. Not too sweet yet packs a punch. Food: can’t ever go wrong with the patatas bravas, pulpo (grilled octopus), the sizzling shrimp ajillo 🤤, and my personal favorite the pan roasted cauliflower. These WILL be TAPAS! Like correctly small portioned authentic tasting well cooked meant to be sampled and shared tapas. It’s surprisingly rare to find that in NYC, but Ella’s will immerse you in the Spanish definition of “socializing”. Suffice it to say this wasn’t my first time here, and there’s a reason I keep coming back year after year. Absolutely love this place!

Lunch portion is very filling. Chicken soup was simple but refreshing. The only hard part to eat was the corn on the cob.
